Flag Memorial Programs

The Veteran Flag endowment program was started in 2000. Prairie Home allows all veterans to participate in the program whether they are property owners or not. A one-time fee purchases the flag and bronze plaque. A permanent location is assigned for each veteran. Flags are flown on particular days of the year. Those living veterans and those who are also property owners at the cemetery will have his/her flag flown on the day of their burial at Prairie Home Cemetery.
