Prairie Home Cemetery is sincerely grateful for benefactor Mrs. Elfrieda Kind for providing us the capability to offer our patrons and visitors carillon bell music. The Elfrieda Kind Electronic Carillon, located in Neumann Tower, can play over 200 hymns and songs. The bells are timed to announce arriving services. Music can be selected and played during graveside or chapel committal services, or at the conclusion of each service. Taps (recorded from the Arlington National Cemetery in Washington D.C.) is among one of the most commonly requested pieces. Music can be requested to celebrate a special occasion or event.
